Main responsibilities/ missions and results:
• Is the management representative according to IATF 16949 and thus the warrant that all standards and procedures are compliant with special focus on:
IATF requirements
Customer standards
Quality Non Negiotable standards (Quality basics in production)
Conformity to special characteristics. Strict respect of the Control Plan.
Problem solving by QRQC/8D
• Represents the customer within the plant and acts accordingly
• Represents the plant Quality management in front of customers and third parties and presents improvement plans
• Being responsible for the management of complains, for both customers and suppliers. Ensures that complains are managed in due time by using QRQC and that 8D reports are robust and regularly updated in the system
• Follows and monitors warranty claims to increase customer satisfaction and reduce warranty cost
• Propose and monitor plans to reduce plant non-Quality costs (scraps, reworks, Quality Walls…)
• Supports all activities to ensure successful launches, product transfers and other industrialization projects
• Ensures Capitalization and Transversalization and shares Best Practices
• Contributes to the definition of the Plant Quality objectives, monitors the progress and implements corrective action/improvement plan in case of deviation
• Manages the Quality department (budget, recruitment, allocation of resources, personnel development, ..)
• Identifies Quality training needs for the Quality team of the plant and for other functions. Provides training related to Quality
• Ensures correct and on- time reporting in the system (Qualana) and perform related data analysis
• Has the authority and the responsibility to stop any process or product delivery in case of severe non-conformance (Safety & Regulation issues, major risks, controls not applied,etc…)
• Follow HSE procedures and guidelines: report any safety or environmental hazards.
