BusTravel Iceland – one of Iceland’s leading tour operators since 1960 – is looking for a Content Writer to join our growing marketing team in the Azores.
In this role, you’ll help us inspire travelers from all over the world to explore Iceland through engaging, high-performing content — blending creativity with data-driven SEO and AI tools.
What You’ll Do:
Write and edit engaging travel content for our website, newsletters, and social media.
Create and optimize tour and product descriptions that drive bookings.
Use SEO/GEO tools to research, plan, and improve content performance.
Collaborate with our marketing and customer service teams to ensure a consistent brand voice and message.
Stay on top of travel trends, keyword opportunities, and audience insights to help shape our digital strategy.
What We’re Looking For:
Excellent English writing and editing skills (native or near-native level).
Additional languages such as French, Spanish, or German are a strong advantage.
Understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing.
Curious, detail-oriented, and creative — with a passion for travel and storytelling.
Strong collaboration skills — you’ll work closely with our in-house team in the Azores and Iceland office.
