The Universal Kraft group has been actively developing renewable energy solutions for over 20 years. Our projects span from small hydro, wind, and solar to waste-to-energy, water treatment, and energy storage solutions, including green Hydrogen and green Ammonia.

With offices in the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, and Sweden, we are continuously expanding, along with our team. Currently, we are currently recruiting for a Chemical Engineer (Gas).

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical, process, or industrial engineering.

A minimum of three (3) years of working experience in the process design/gas industry.

Experience in hydrogen and/or renewable energy sectors is highly valued.

Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities

Ability to travel occasionally.

Hands-on experience with AutoCAD software is a plus.

Experience in natural gas and/or electrolyser manufacturing is a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Fluent in English, (Knowledge of Spanish French & Portuguese is a plus)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be responsible for developing and implementing process design of chemical processes in our multi-disciplinary and international team. You will execute project deliverables ensuring technical integrity and accuracy in the indicated timeframe. You will provide input and assistance to other engineering disciplines.

Sizing, specification, and selection of equipment (water treatment, electrolyser, gas compressor, H2 storage, heat exchangers, …etc.)

Work closely with project development, sourcing, and other discipline engineers to create cost-efficient designs.

Participate in the budget preparation of the full project.

Preparing Process Flow Diagram (PFDs) and process description.

Performing heat and mass balance, line sizing, and CO2 emission calculation.
