At FLAMA, S.A., we specialize in the design and production of small domestic appliances. With a focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, we are looking for a Product Development Engineer to join our R&D team and help drive the creation of cutting-edge products.
Your Responsibilities
Lead the development of new products from concept to mass production, ensuring alignment with business and market requirements.
Design, prototype, and test product components using SolidWorks and other engineering tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, production, suppliers) to ensure smooth product development.
Evaluate materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes for optimal performance and cost efficiency.
Ensure product compliance with certifications and industry standards.
Solve engineering challenges and propose innovative solutions to enhance product quality and usability.
What We’re Looking For
Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: 2-3+ years in a similar role (preferably in small appliances or related industries).
Skills:
Proficiency in SolidWorks and other 3D modeling tools.
Strong understanding of materials, production processes, and product testing.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Languages: Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.
