This is a full-time on-site role for Maintenance Technician located in Santo Isidro de Pegões.
The Maintenance Technician performs routinely maintenance of equipment, machinery and manufacturing facilities, including plumbing, heating/cooling and electrical systems, and helps troubleshoot and repair any mechanical or electrical problems when they arise.
The role also involves analysing data, communicating with suppliers, and supporting business operations on a day-to-day basis.
General duties include:
• planning and carrying out scheduled maintenance;
• responding to emergencies;
• diagnosing faults;
• repairing equipment and testing repairs;
• supervising contractors;
• managing specialist components, fixtures or fittings;
• managing supplies and equipment stocks;
• creating maintenance procedures;
• keeping records of faults and repairs;
• You may need to work shifts or be on call.
Key skills:
• Knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of Irrigation systems.
• Knowledge of Electrical systems.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English (required).
• Excellent technical skills and knowledge.
• Problem-solving skills and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
• Knowledge of the medical cannabis industry is a plus.
